In 1983, Nationwide began its Kansas City trucking operation as a bulk transport truck line include food grade trucking and storage trailer leasing. In 1995, ownership and management changed and we became N.T.S., L.L.C. With the change came the broad experience and support needed to operate at cutting edge efficiency and greatly expanded our food grade trucking capability. The existing fleet has dramatically increased by the merger to include truck and trailer leasing for short and long term contracts.

Food grade truck drivers are thoroughly trained to meet the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices for its trailer safety. In addition, NTS developed and practices, a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) policy. With the changing risks that are ever present, these procedures are in place to minimize any type of breach in security. The number one priority is handling these products in a safe and secure manner.

NTS has all types of equipment. Pneumatic tanks, all are radio controlled to expedite your distribution within the commercial zones of Kansas City and the Midwest Region.

NTS has a driver safety program, which our drivers are required to participate. We have quarterly safety meetings and a yearly safety award program. We follow all of the Department of Transportation regulations, which include, Drug and alcohol testing, (Pre-employment, Post accident, Random) Hours of Service, Driver Qualification, Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance.

Our warehousing to include climatic controlled cold storage specializing in liquors, wines and packaged liquids to rail car transfer or inter area processing plants we have provided for these needs.
